Privacy Policy

Effective: August 20, 2026 Last updated: August 20, 2026

1. About this Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Live Collage iOS application provided by ZhaoYu Yang (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We value your privacy and process data only as necessary to provide app features, security verification, free allowances, and subscription entitlements.

If you have questions, contact us at livecollage@126.com.

2. Photos, Videos, and Live Photos

Media selection, video frame processing, collage composition, key-photo generation, and Live Photo pairing all take place locally on your device. Photos, videos, Live Photos, drafts, file names, album names, and system media identifiers are not uploaded to our servers.

The app reads media only within the scope you authorize and uses Add Photos permission to save exported results to Photos. Intermediate export files are kept in the app’s temporary directory and removed when a task succeeds, fails, is canceled, or during later cache cleanup. We do not modify or delete the original media in your photo library.

If an item is stored only in iCloud, Apple PhotoKit may download it from iCloud according to your system settings. Apple provides and controls that process.

3. Data We Process

Anonymous identity and installation information

Live Collage does not offer a traditional account login. On first use, the server creates an anonymous user and installation instance and generates a “My ID” for support purposes. We may process internal anonymous-user identifiers, the public support ID, installation identifiers, anonymous session state, first-install time, and last-active time.

Device and security verification information

To prevent abuse of free allowances, counterfeit clients, and replayed requests, we may process the app version, iOS version, device model identifier, App Attest key and counter state, DeviceCheck state, security verification results, risk events, and irreversibly hashed IP-address information.

Free allowance and export records

We record daily free-allowance totals, used and reserved quantities, as well as export type, task state, success, failure or cancellation results, and necessary error categories. The server does not receive or store the media being edited.

Subscription and purchase information

When you purchase or restore a membership, we process Apple-verified product IDs, transaction IDs, original transaction IDs, purchase and expiration times, subscription status, Sandbox or Production environment, refund or revocation status, and the App Account Token used to associate entitlements with an anonymous identity. We do not receive your bank-card information, Apple ID password, or complete payment details.

On-device settings

Preferences such as default Live Photo duration, haptics, and export quality are stored on your device. The app may locally retain short-term state needed to resume an unfinished export or refresh membership status.

4. How We Use Data

“My ID” is used only for support lookup. It is not an account, login credential, or security credential. No one can use the ID alone to sign in, access private data, consume allowances, or modify a membership.

5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal information or use data to track you across apps or websites. The following services may process necessary data when providing functionality:

We may disclose relevant data to the extent necessary when required by applicable law or a lawful request from a judicial or administrative authority.

6. Retention and Security

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, to process subscriptions and refunds, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type, business status, and legal requirements. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

We use measures such as HTTPS transport, access controls, hashed session tokens, security-attestation verification, and audit logs for administrative operations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident may affect your rights, we will take appropriate remedial and notification measures as required by law.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can change photo permissions in system settings, view or cancel a subscription on Apple’s subscription management page, or email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of relevant data we hold.

For a data request, provide your My ID and a necessary description of the request. Because the ID itself is not proof of identity, we may require reasonable security verification. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription, and deleting server-side data does not delete transaction records held by Apple.

8. Children’s Privacy

Live Collage is not directed at children and does not intentionally collect their real-name identity or contact information. Children should use the app and purchase subscriptions only with guidance from a parent or guardian. If a guardian believes we have improperly processed a child’s information, please contact us.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when features, data practices, or legal requirements change and will publish the updated date on this page. For material changes, we will provide notice in the app or by another appropriate method.
